Really? I'm on the PC app, running windows. Other games work fine. I can download the game as a zip file just fine, I'm talking about being able to launch it from the app itself. Here's a screencap.
i will say i got this to but if im not mistaken its because this is a patreon only version not a public one sadly idk if theres a way to hide the page but you should probly set such a page as buy now not free and then just give your patreons a free key to it
Sorry, I meant the game doesn't work on Itch's launcher. I can download the file manually fine, but it's much more convenient to have all my games on a single launcher, which is why I prefer using it over just having a million executables in a folder.
Just an advice. If you wanna be noticed your first demo needs to be atleast playable. However this is an absolute mess. It will be much harder to work from there.
1. i didint see any mention of this game being a prototype on this page it really seems like a full release/beta
2.id also like to mention that black on grey on grey is a horrible choice for a page design as their all colors that slowly merge together id maybe suggest on changing text color or even background color to make things easier to see
nvm just saw it but going back to my 2nd statement i went back up after typing my first sentance and saw it but it dont help that my eyes are abit blury right now because its night time and have back problems right now so ya maybe look into a color change
Can't wait to see how this goes! CoT is one of my favorite games of the genre and is in my opinion, THE best as far as puzzles, graphics, secrets, and horror. of course, this doesn't need to be horror based, but if it has all the other stuff, I'll be plenty happy. Animations and art style I super dig.

the current version is broken on the itch app. When trying to download it, it fails and gives the error: "no manager for installer unkown".
I've just checked and I'm not getting an error. And I have no other report that such an error occurs with others.

As already mentioned, it is a prototype and not a demo. It only shows features and a small insight.

Thanks for your great feedback, CoT is one of my fav games and I love to be inspired by this game especially the enemies and their animations.
